What do the webstats tell us?
What do the webstats tell us?
Solution
The webstats page displays a lot of information, some of it straight forward and some not so.
Our servers use a piece of software called Analog to compile our webstats reports and they have some excellent documentation on their website which explains the various terms used as well as what you can learn from the statistics for your website.
You can view the Analog documentation at
http://analog.cx/docs/meaning.html
and it's worth browsing through the three articles (How the web works, Analog's reports and Analog's definitions) to get a better understanding of what the webstats figures represent.
